CDU and CSU in the lead
Citizens of EU member states elected a new European Parliament in the 2024 European Parliament elections. According to projections, the CDU-CSU has overtaken the Green Party as the second-strongest force behind the AfD in the European elections. The ARD projection from 7:58 p.m. indicates that the CDU and CSU together received the most votes in Germany.
